Blush Pink Flower Power

Blush Pink flowers, long sash windows, & floods of natural daylight made for a beautiful styled shoot at Fulham Palace. We have been lucky enough to work with one of London’s most reputable florists, Mary Jane Vaughan and her team for many years now. The quality of their work is nothing less than outstanding so it was a privilege to see some wonderful new designs being shot here in our very own Bishop Terrick’s Drawing Room.

Quite often Brides choose their flowers to match their chosen colour scheme for the day but not only are the flowers there to add an element of decoration, they have the ability to create a mood throughout your venue and quite frankly they tell a story about the Bride and Groom. From lavish structured designs to simple bunches of flowers in jam jars your flowers will tell your guests something about you.

Mary Jane Vaughan’s team and their expertise share their experience with Blush pink flowers and this shoot in particular. Images courtesy of Lloyd Dobbie photography, another of our most loved London wedding suppliers.

“Many brides have a penchant for pink, and why not? After all blush pink is surely the perfect shade for brides who are looking for a wedding that oozes romance and style but is still very fashionable.”

“Our team at Mary Jane Vaughan Designs worked on a recent photo shoot with the photographer Lloyd Dobbie at Fulham Palace. Working in the elegant Bishop Terrick Drawing Room which, as always, was flooded with natural light thanks to the tall sash windows overlooking the lawns, we created a romantic opulent look perfect for a stylish wedding.”

“The design incorporated soft pink and cream roses, white hydrangea, pale pink and white ranunculus and a little hyacinth and lilac for their delicate perfume. A real reflection of the beauty and bounty of spring flowers with a just -picked yet classic look that is so popular with brides. The flowers were arranged in a mixture of cut glass, silver beakers and mottled glass vases, all bought to life with battery operated nightlights on silver candlesticks and in delicate glass votves.”

The team were so pleased with the results they ended up using the images for their new note cards. We do hope the images are inspiring for any Brides who are planning to ‘think pink’ for their big day. We wouldn’t be surprised if any of our up and coming brides choose this colour scheme for the Palace – it really did look quite stunning!
