It’s All About You – Duncan & Loli

Duncan and Loli held their summer wedding reception at Fulham Palace last July. British weather at bay, the happy couple were able to enjoy an almost alfresco dinner with the marquee doors swung open! Something we hope to see plenty more of this summer.

Having wed the day before, Duncan and Loli joined us for a blessing in the Tait Chapel. Adding a personal touch, the blessing was carried out by a close friend, which certainly gave the whole day a very warm feel from the start!

Thank you Kris Piotrowski for sharing your wonderful photos!

Guests awaited the happy couple in the Tudor Courtyard, which is perfect for confetti shots, we love seeing the pictures that capture this moment! The smiles say it all!

The wonderful Love Blooms created Loli’s summer bouquet and the table centres for the marquee. The rest of flowers and details were taken care by Loli and her bridesmaids. Coming from an events background, Loli was keen to get her hands dirty and we love how much of their personality came through on the day.

Summer weddings are the perfect excuse to serve up everyone’s favourite summer drink… Pimms! It makes for a nice alternative to bubbles and we think it sets a relaxed and fun tone for the rest of the day.

You may have seen these cute drinks dispensers on Pinterest recently, they are the perfect way to serve up non-alcoholic beverages and make your tee total guests feel thoroughly looked after. Think infused water, cloudy lemonade, oh and of course a couple of ice cold buckets of beers alongside for the gents!

It’s on to the Chaplain’s Garden Marquee for dinner. Duncan and Loli were one of our lucky couples that enjoyed dining with all the doors open. We always recommend it if the weather allows.

Duncan and Loli had styled the garden with rustic and vintage details, they worked perfectly together to create a lovely flow between the outside and indoor spaces.

The balmy weather continued and guests enjoyed drinks in the private garden, we love the use of the hanging tea lights and festoon lighting along the wall. Duncan and Loli certainly thought of every intricate detail when it came to making their guests feel cosy as the evening light faded.

After enjoying the garden for as long as possible it was back into the Palace for some rather special after party entertainment, the one and only MCFLY turned up to get the party started! Duncan (Groom) is a long friend of Harry Judd and he introduced the beloved band to guests before boogying the night away on a very busy, very happy dance floor!

Let the crowd surfing commence… that’s a wrap!
