Glitter, Glamour and Gatsby Swagger – Natasha & Julian

From rose hips in the gin & tonic and a flower chandelier to wedding guest survival kits, every little detail was thought of for Natasha and Julian’s big day. Wed at Fulham Palace on a Saturday in April, sun peeping through the clouds, we were transported back to the 1920’s for this fabulous Spring wedding.

Natasha and Julian began their day at St Augustine’s Church in Fulham before making their way to us, guests in tow on traditional London buses.

Family and friends alike were treated to gin & tonics, garnished with pink peppercorns, rose hips and cucumber on arrival as well as an interactive “Pimp your Prosecco” station inside with crème de cassis, and fresh raspberry and peach juice on offer!

After plenty of canapés, including mini “Toad in the holes” and sweet potato scones topped with grilled goats cheese and yellow sultana relish, the guests were invited to move through to the Chaplain’s Walled Garden Marquee for the wedding breakfast.

Sequin table cloths by Glimmer and Threads, ribbon tied napkins and Laudree macarons adorned the tables as the glitz and glamour continued. The top table, in the centre of the room, sat beneath a beautiful floral chandelier, designed by florist Jay Archer, making it all the more special!

A delicious three course meal was served followed by a number of speeches and touch of girl power by Bride Natasha… one of our favourite photos of the day captured by the lovely Lucy at My Heart Skipped Wedding Photography.

This really was a fantastically fun wedding to be a part of, the merriment continued followed by Natasha and Julian cutting their “Cheese Cake” provided by our superb catering team, Bovingdons.

Formalities over and it’s time to get the party started. Cue the champagne….

Not to forget the cocktails, a taco station for the evening guests, cheese boards and a number of party boxes to cover all bases, each bringing their individual ‘Gatsby’ glamour.

The first dance saw the Great Hall showered with confetti and music by the Wedding Smashers made sure it was busy all night. Natasha and Julian’s wedding is one we will remember for many years to come, the organisation, the atmosphere and their amazing approach to the day meant it was more than a pleasure to be a part of. We finish with a testimonial from Natasha herself and a few of our favourite shots of the happy couple… what a joy to relive it all over again!

Epic Wedding day

By Natasha, on 23 Jun 2016

I cannot express how amazing Chloe and the team are @ Fulham Palace. Everything from initial ideas stage, through to food tasting and the big day was just wonderful. Chloe and the team completely rocked our world and even took care of setting up the venue for us. I’m not sure Chloe ever sleeps as she always replied to everyone of my emails without fail and held our hand through the whole experience. The venue itself was so beautiful and magical, all of our guests are still raving about the venue and the wonderful food. I highly recommend this stunning venue and team to all the brides out there.
