For the Love of Luxury – 1920’s themed canape menu

Over the last two years, we’ve seen a substantial cultural movement towards the 1920’s theme being incorporated into many aspects of art and theatre.

Popular culture bought forward the Great Gatsby and Bond themes to many celebrations including weddings. As mentioned by wedding press and media this is set to continue further this year and with this in mind we have created a canapes and drinks menu fit for any 1920’s party.

Below is a list of some of our most luxurious canapes on offer:

Sashimi of beef with Foie Gras dipping sauce

Wild salmon rillette, cauliflower florette, pink peppercorns

Foie gras parfait on brioche with black figs

Parmesan cornet, salt cod mousse, avruga

Veal tataki, crisp greens, truffle and rosemary

Quail leg confit, celeriac and beetroot

Ballotine of foie gras, saffron and pear

Baked jersey royals, sour cream, avruga

Scallop tartar, avocado and yuzu

Brioche croutes with caramelised apple and foie gras

Shucked rock oysters with champagne and raspberry salsa

Poached oysters with mango jelly

Mini steak tartar

Crab and celeriac remoulade served in ceramic spoon

With these themes there is a tendency for champagne to be quickly replaced by classic cocktails see below a number of cocktails which fit this theme perfectly, Gin and English Breakfast Tea!
